Ireland 26, Wales 3: Instant Analysis in Verse

The champs dismantled by Ireland's rolling maul
A tactic for which they had no defence at all.

  1. Nice one champ. Although I disagree on a technical aspect - The best defence for a lineout is not to create a maul to begin with (prevention is better than cure). Risky from 5m out but worth it from 10m out or more. Dnt compete or touch oposition until they cross line and line out is deemed over, hooker can come from side as no maul/ruck.

    1. Tactically, I think Wales had that planned.
Still, I'll forward your assessment to Warren Gatland.
